More than a label.
The certification trade mark for recyclable clothing, with protection in the UK and all 27 EU member states.
Granted by the UKIPO (2024) and EUIPO (2026), the 'Infinitee' mark is a certification trade mark: third-party assurance that any garment bearing it has been designed to be recycled.
Not all sustainability marks are equal. Many are self-declared, a brand making its own claim about its own product. The 'Infinitee' mark is different.
As a registered certification trade mark, it can only be issued by CTF, the independent certifier, against a defined standard. That standard is set by the requirements of Europe's textile-to-textile recyclers, not by brands, not by CTF, but by the industrial reality of what can and cannot be recycled at scale.
The UKIPO registration (2024), combined with the EUIPO registration (2026), means the 'Infinitee' mark now carries legal protection across the UK and all 27 EU member states, a significant asset for brands as UK and EU textile regulations tighten.

What certification achieves.
Four aims, one mark

Provides third party assurance
Independently substantiating your recyclability claims ahead of tightening regulation
Aligns with UK and EU legislation
Designed to meet the certification scheme requirements
Embeds value that stays with the garment throughout its life
Certified garments feed higher-quality recycled fibre back into the materials market
Enables fibre-to-fibre recycling to become commercially viable
De-risking your future supply chain
Independent by design.
Why independence matters
Certification only has value if the standard behind it is trusted.
CTF has no stake in whether the products or brands we certify succeed commercially — our only interest is in whether they meet the standard. That standard is not set by brands. It is set by the real-world requirements of textile-to-textile recyclers operating at scale.
This separation between commercial interest and standard setting is the foundation of the 'Infinitee' mark's credibility. It is a registered certification mark with both the UKIPO and EUIPO — giving it legal protection and enforceability across both the UK and EU and distinguishing it from the unregistered environmental claims that regulators on both sides of the channel are increasingly scrutinising.
From brief to certified.
The certification process

Workshops & Training
We begin with a bespoke training programme, applying our 'Theory of Thirds' methodology to identify and unlock recyclability within your existing and future product ranges. This is hands-on and brand-specific, not off-the-shelf.

Circular Bill of Materials
Together we build a complete Circular Bill of Materials (BOM) for each garment seeking certification. A detailed, accurate BOM is the foundation of both the certification process and your brand's readiness for incoming regulatory requirements.

Independent Verification
Each garment is assessed against the standard, informed by the real-world requirements of textile-to-textile recyclers, checking fibre composition, components, and construction. Only garments that meet the standard are approved to carry the 'Infinitee' mark.

Labelling with the 'Infinitee' Mark
Certified garments are labelled with the CTF 'Infinitee' mark and QR code. Care label design and wording is created in line with UK and EU legislation, including the CMA Green Claims Code and Directive (EU) 2024/825, protecting your brand as well as the consumer.

Ahead of the regulatory curve.
EU and UK textile regulations are moving fast
The EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), Digital Product Passport requirements and Extended Producer Responsibility schemes are placing increasing obligations on brands to evidence recyclability — and to back up environmental claims with independent verification.
The ‘Infinitee’ mark is designed to meet this moment. Its legal status across the EU and UK means it provides brands with a defensible, regulator-ready credential — not just a consumer-facing label.
