We are the only UK organisation to offer verification and certification in garment recyclability. The CTF Infinitee mark proves to customers that a product is designed to be recycled. It indicates that the design fits the parameters of named fibre to fibre recycling facilities, providing assurance that there is an of an end of life solution for the product and informs recyclers that they can accept it.

The CTF Infinitee mark has now been reviewed and granted by the UK government body, the UKIPO, as the UK certification trade mark for recyclable clothing. The regulations that set out how the mark may be used and by whom were scrutinised and approved by the UKIPO. The point of a certification mark is to indicate that a product bearing the mark meets certain criteria - in this case recyclability by certain specific metrics and therefore helps brands looking to ensure they meet CMA guidelines on greenwashing.

We now have this mark registered and through the CTF we have the route to prove a garments recyclability. With recyclable garments we can get easy to recycle feedstock, which leads to more recycling of textiles and better quality, lower priced recycled materials and yarns for new garments. It is a major step to circularity in textiles.
