The work we are doing at the Circular Textiles Foundation in circular design training is moving forward at pace and we are busy with many major UK clients, changing the way clothing is made. Recently we have:
- Delivered two in-person Design for Recyclability workshops to almost 100 Tesco team members
- Delivered two in-person Design for Recyclability workshops to The Very Group
Our Design for Recyclability workshops explain what circularity is and how circular design principles can be embedded into your business. We cover the latest legislation, carbon costing, fibre to fibre recycling, recyclers and their capabilities and ‘designing with the end in mind’. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the work of our recycler network - Södra, Iinouiio:: Recycled Textiles, Project Re:claim, Circulose, Lenzing Group, Recover & Worn Again Technologies – and review and revise a brand’s garments in-person, translating recycler parameters into achievable alternatives.
